What happens when I move to Junip 2.0?
Three things occur when you move to 2.0:
Your plan will change to your newly selected plan. Choosing your new plan on this page: https://admin.juniphq.com/2.0 is how you move your store to 2.0.
Your widgets will automatically update to our 2.0 widgets. You can preview what the new widgets will look like by adding: ?junip-v2=true&junip-preview-mode=true&junip-break-cache=true to the end of your current PDP URL
Your account will have access to all the features & functionality of your new plan
Does anything about my account change?
Yes, your widgets will auto-update on your storefront to the new widgets, and your plan will change to your new plan.
Okay, but anything else?
No. Your flows, requests etc will all remain the exact same. The only reason anything else would change is if you are moving to a plan in 2.0 that doesn't have a feature you had in 1.0, but that is normal downgrade behaviour.
How will I know if I'm losing features?
If the new plan you're selecting will make you lose any features you had in 1.0, you will see a modal like this with the details of what you're losing:
What plan should I choose in the new pricing?
From a feature standpoint the plans are roughly the equivalent of their predecessor. There are some cases where features have moved down to lower plans than before (ie "grouping" is now on Core, earlier was on Standard) and many cases of brand new features that were not available in previous plans.
In general if you move to the equivalent of your current plan you shouldn't lose any of your current functionality (and will gain new features/functionality), with some exceptions specifically on our free plan.
1.0 Plan & Price | 2.0 Equivalent (unlimited orders) |
Free ($0) | Free ($0) |
Basic ($19-$59 depending on orders) | Core ($29) |
Standard ($74-$224, based on orders) | Growth ($79) |
Pro ($299-$1499, on order volume) | Premium ($299)* |
During our beta phase, a lot of stores saw a drop in their monthly price with this change. There are certainly still be a number of stores experiencing a slight increase as well or those choosing to move to a higher tier for new functionality.
In both cases of decrease & increase, stores told us they had more confidence in their pricing month over month instead of worrying about order volume.
*Our listed 2.0 plans are serviced by our live-chat support team. For the small number of stores that need hands-on dedicated account management, 10+ stores/50+ users & other custom solutions, contact sales@juniphq.com to discuss our Enterprise options on 2.0.
Why are you doing this?
Order based pricing never really made sense for reviews. It's complicated & not connected to the value we provide. We're a small team that grows primarily by word of mouth, so offering a fair deal that's easy to understand makes much more sense vs fighting over order volume.
We expect this change will result in a near term drop in our revenue, but long term growth as Junip becomes even easier to adopt. If you like the change... tell a friend (or leave us a review: https://apps.shopify.com/junip#modal-show=ReviewListingModal). Both really help!

When do I have to move?
There is no set deadline at the moment. That said, moving is very easy & we encourage you to do so in order to take advantage of the new features.
