You've setup and enabled your integration with Klaviyo (or a similar ESP), now you'd like to confirm that it's working and see what it looks like for a customer, so let's help you do that! If you haven't setup the integration yet and need a hand with that, check out this guide.
Send test event from Junip
In Junip's admin > Flows > click "Edit" beside the "Post-purchase review request" flow that you just setup with the integration. Where it says "Send event to Klaviyo" you can click on the ( i ) icon to open a menu and click "Send test event"
Preview your email in Klaviyo
Next, go to your Klaviyo account > Flows > select the flow that you've setup and enabled to send review requests to your customers. Click on "Edit" in the template section. Click on "Preview and test", you'll then see the test event (with your info) on the right-hand side which means that the event was sent successfully to Klaviyo.
Click CTAs in the email to confirm they work
On the review request email you've created, we'll want to check that any variables (like customer name) are coming through properly. Because this is a test event, it includes sample data, so seeing sample info is good and means that the integration is working. You should see the dynamic product block showing "Sample product" titles and images.
Click on all of the review CTAs in the email to make sure that they lead you to the review form for the "Sample product". If it leads you elsewhere or gives you an error, then we need to revisit how we added the variables to the email make sure they are correct.
And that's it! You've just previewed how the integration will work and confirmed that everything is working as expected. We can't wait for real customers to be added to the flow and receive this email so that they can submit a review!
