tl;dr - When you create an incentive, Junip creates one discount in your Shopify admin with a pool of unique codes.
If you've enabled an incentive in Junip and then visit Discounts in your Shopify admin, you'll see a discount created by Junip containing a batch of codes. This is intended behaviour & no, your customers are not receiving discounts by accident. A code is only sent out when a customer earns it by leaving a review.
Why a pool? Shopify rate-limits how quickly apps can create discount codes. Keeping codes ready in advance means every reviewer gets their code instantly, even when many reviews come in at once.
Two things to know:
Don't edit or delete this discount in Shopify - it will break code delivery for your incentive.
Incentives can't be edited. To change the amount or type, delete the incentive in Junip and create a new one.
