Welcome to Junip! We're excited to have you on board and help you gather more reviews from your customers.

Before starting, make sure you've done 2 things:

Just follow the 3 steps below and we'll have you fully transitioned from your previous provider and over to Junip! 🤩

1. Bring over your reviews from Judge.me

a) Export your reviews from Judge.me

Step 1. In your Judge.me admin, go to Manage Reviews > Reviews Dashboard.

Step 2. Click Import & Export at the top.

Step 3. In the Import & Export section, select Export Reviews > Export published reviews. Then click Export reviews.

This will automatically download a .csv file in your browser that contains all of your published reviews on Judge.

b) Import your reviews to Junip

In your Junip admin head to the Reviews section > click the Import reviews button in the top right corner of the screen > select "Judge.me" as the provider > then drag & drop the export file into the importer.

That's it! You should see a message box at the top of the screen showing you the import progress. Once the import is done, you'll see your imported reviews in the Manage reviews section.

2. Start sending review requests from Junip

a) Turn off review requests in Judge.me

To avoid double sending review requests to customers, it's important to turn off your review request flow in Judge.me before turning it on in Junip.

To do so, you'll want to go to your Judge.me admin > Settings > Review Requests > Conditions > Enable Requests and toggle off requests for Domestic orders & International orders (if you have them) > click Save Settings on the top right corner.

b) Turn on review requests in Junip

Before setting up your Post purchase review request flow in Junip, there's 2 things you need to do.

First, head to Settings > Store Settings > Branding Settings to upload your logo and set your brand colours so your review request email and form are on brand.

This will take you to your review request flow builder where you can customize the trigger action (ie. the action that triggers review requests) and the time delay (ie. how long to wait after the trigger action before sending a review request).

3. Add Junip's displays to your site

a) Uninstall Judge.me's widgets

Before adding Junip's displays to your website, you'll want to make sure you've removed the displays from your previous provider.

Go to your theme customizer in Shopify and navigate to your Default Product page.

Then click on the Judge.me App Blocks, Star Ratings and Review Widget, press "Remove block" and the click "Save".

Repeat this process wherever you have added the Judge.me App Blocks on your store.

Finally, to uninstall the app, go to your Shopify admin > Settings > Apps and sales channels > find the Judge.me app and click Uninstall next to it.

❗️Note: uninstalling the app will delete your account data (including your reviews) so make sure you've exported any final reviews before uninstalling the app.

b) Add Junip's displays

Step 1 - Enable the Junip App Embed

To add Junip's displays to your site, you can do so in the On-site section of Junip's admin and click "Enable app embed". This will take you to your active theme where you can confirm that the app embed is enabled, then click Save in the top right corner of the screen to update your theme.

Note: If you're working on a separate theme, use the dropdown next to your live theme name, select the desired theme, and click "Enable app embed".
