A UPC / GTIN is an important identifier for your products that enables you to syndicate reviews to other channels (like Google Shopping and Meta Shops) and to other stores. Therefore, it's crucial that all relevant products in your catalog have a UPC / GTIN and that this matches what you have in those other channels.

In your Junip admin, you can filter by products in your catalog that do not have a valid UPC / GTIN, making it easy to troubleshoot these instances by adding the correct GTIN for each of these variants.

Go to the Products section in Junip's admin: https://admin.juniphq.com/products

Click on the "Search and Filter" button > Add Filter > GTIN Status > Does not have GTINs. You're now looking at a list of your products that are missing at least one valid GTIN.

From here, you can click any of the products in this list and add the GTIN right from Junip by clicking "Edit" and copy & pasting the appropriate GTIN in the field. Make sure to click Save before leaving the page. You can also use this as a reference to more easily make these changes in your Shopify admin if you'd prefer.

Note: making this change in Junip will update the "barcode" field for this product in Shopify.

Hopefully that helps make identifier management easier for you, but don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!
